Why Are We?
There is little to no system of public education in Haiti, which means that if someone wants to attend school, they must pay for private education. In one of the poorest nations in the world, the unfortunate reality is that many children and young adults are faced with the sad reality that they cannot afford to obtain the tools that can help them escape the cycle of poverty - they cannot afford to go to school. Haiti Scholarships is working to change that.

It costs roughly $1 a day for a student to go to school. A donation of $30 pays for a full month of high school for a child.

Who Are We?
HaitiScholarships is 501(c)(3) charitable organization launched to help Haitians continue their education. It is designed to help Haitians stay in school through a scholarship program that helps them afford education. All money goes to the schools and each payment stops if the student does not maintain attendance and “good grades”
